As a member of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), OnePoint provides a complete package and menu of options for Oregon state employers. OnePoint services PEO clients in over 20 states and provides payroll services for clients in all 50 states.
OnePoint HR Oregon was founded in 2006 by Ron Burns and John Smith. Our company was designed to address the growing need for alternative outsource solutions for Oregon state businesses by providing PEO services, Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) and payroll services (also known as co-employment or employee leasing).
Ron Burns has been in the Oregon PEO industry since 1997. Prior to opening OnePoint HR Oregon, Ron developed the PEO concept for another Oregon-based firm. Before 1997, Ron spent over 20 years in the food-service industry and was co-founder of a frozen food manufacturing company that prepared a nationally-distributed product. Ron has a B.S. in Business Management.
John Smith founded a local CPA firm in the Denver metro area in 1983, after working several years with a national “big eight” accounting firm. Now recognized as one of the top ten local Denver area CPA firms, JDS Professional Group remains controlled by John Smith and is an affiliate service partner of the OnePoint Companies.
